The Feathers In Our Cap: “Sundays at Café Tabac” Thank Early Supporters

    We are busy bees here at Café Tabac Film central to bring you the most memorable, celebratory and titillating party at our upcoming #Back2Tabac fundraiser event sponsored by MAC Cosmetics but want to take this opportunity to thank our early supporters, you are the feathers in our cap! You are enabling us to bring a powerful, beautiful and inspiring story about women to life, and we aim to give you a celebration worthy of feathers, glamour, and a shower of magnificent flowers.

    We especially want to thank our early Kickstarter supporters and those who gave directly through our website. We hope you enjoy the free and promotional coded discounted tickets you received for the upcoming #Back2Tabac extravaganza. Please RSVP to the email we sent out to you if you haven’t done so already, or at info@cafetabacfilm.com. You got the ball rolling early by donating funds to the project and spreading the word. Your participation not only enabled us to ramp up production on the film, but resulted in important early media coverage about the project and the community we were able to build around the project. This allows us to position ourselves well in order to gain important institutional and corporate allies, as well as patrons of the arts in order to raise all the funds required to complete and launch the film. We are now on a path to not only making the film that we envision of historic value, but creating a movement around it and its values, which centers on women’s empowerment and visibility.

    We also want to thank the incredible men who have personally stepped forward with their support and funding, and/or have done so through their businesses and companies. You have understood how our story will be an inspiration to all, addressing our core human values and an important idea and practice of “community.”
